My name is Valeria — but for as long as I can remember, my abuelitas have always called me Valerita.

All my life I have been surrounded by talented elders who have instilled in me the power of your hands and your mind. Beautiful tools of creation and story-telling.

My passion for knitwear started with my abuelita Nena teaching me how to crochet at age nine. In her legacy, I’ve always aimed to honor the importance of craftsmanship, especially knitwear, being passed down through generations.

Knitwear is slow, but that’s what makes it so special. It gives me the space to pour love, memory, and care into each piece one stitch at a time.
